Wind chills as low as 34 below zero expected.
* WHERE...Northwest Aroostook, Northeast Aroostook, Northern
Somerset, Northern Piscataquis, Northern Penobscot, Southeast
Aroostook, Central Piscataquis, Central Penobscot, Southern
Piscataquis and Northern Washington Counties.
* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 7 AM EST
Tuesday. For the Wind Chill Advisory, until 11 AM EST Tuesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions.
Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility
and cause localized hazardous travel. The hazardous conditions
could impact the morning commute. The dangerously cold wind
chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10
minutes.
